DAD TRAINERS

If I'm totally honest, I wasn't feeling the Dad trainer trend at first because, well, they're a bit ugly, and I didn't want to be one of those people that taps into a trend just because it's a trend. So instead I bought a gorgeous pair of knee high cream boots and then thought, where the hell am I going in those? Suddenly the Dad trainer started to look more appealing. And the more I researched their wearability, the more obsessed I became. I guess it's because it's a trend that works well with my lifestyle. My days are filled with running after Dolly, bouncing Hugo around trying to bring up wind, or racing up and down Oxford Street prepping for my next shoot. So there you have it. I am a slave to fashion, but this time it's for practical reasons.

SWEATER LUST LIST

Every year I promise myself that I won't buy anymore sweaters because I already own a whole wardrobe full but then the inevitable happens. The high street tempts me with their mix of bright colours, muted tones, oversized, cropped, chunky knit, fine knit treats and before I know it I'm hiding bags from Ben!

IT'S RAINING, IT'S POURING...

I want a raincoat and I'm not ashamed to say it. I remember when there was nothing more embarrassing than your mum making you wear a raincoat to school but here I am lusting over them. They're so sensible but yet somehow cool. They keep you dry and the hood takes away the problem of pushing a pram with no hands to hold an umbrella. Practical fashion. Who knew?

DREAMING OF SUMMER

I'm not sure I can take much more of this dull, damp, dreary weather. It's making me so depressed and I have found myself day dreaming of summer every single day of January! I'm also trying my hardest not to buy anything right now as what's the point? I want to invest in spring/summer items but I can't wear them. So I've put together a lust list of what I'd like for summer and hope they don't sell out! Gulp. Probably the stupidest thing I've ever done or at least one of them.
