MAC BE SILLY

Mac Be Silly Lipstick £15.50

I'm a massive fan of a statement lipstick, mainly because I'm not very good at doing my eyes and also because it really lifts your face. What I mean is, it helps to disguise how tired I am from having broken sleep every night. A friend bought me this lipstick from Mac and firstly I LOVE the hot fuchsia pink colour but secondly it stays on! I repeat it STAYS ON! I've even done the coffee cup test and it still remains on my lips. Well worth the £15.50 price tag I think!

GUCCI LOAFERS

Wearing: Gucci Loafers | Whistles Dungarees Similar from River Island @ ASOS | H&M Top

Gucci has made a massive comeback and everyone who's anyone wants a pair of Gucci loafers so you can imagine my delight when I found these bad boys at my mum's. I used to wear these going "out out" back in the day. I've never been so pleased to be a hoarder, especially when I dug out my baby pink suede ones too!

MOTHER'S DAY PRESENT

ASOS £150

I wanted to show you what Dolly bought me for my first Mother's Day before it sells out. She has great taste, doesn't she?! She must also be psychic because I've had this gorge cropped leather jacket on my wish list for ages. It's a great alternative to the usual black leather jacket and the stone colour is perfect for spring/summer. I'm sure you'll be seeing it a lot on the blog.

VALENTINE'S DAY LUNCH DATE

Wearing: Topshop Dress Similar @ Boohoo | Kurt Geiger (quick they are in the sale) Boots | Gucci Bag as before | Oasis Pom Pom Similar @ Missguided

My husband and I went to Bob Bob Ricard which is one of our favourite restaurants for lunch on Valentine's Day. You've probably heard of it. It's the restaurant that has a bell on each table that you can press for champagne! What more could you want?

This was our first day out without Dolly (our daughter) and I still have some baby weight to lose so I struggled to find something to wear. Luckily I found this old thing in my wardrobe. It's a dress I bought from Topshop ages ago but it was the perfect find because the fit is really roomy. I teamed it will my flat thigh high boots from Kurt Geiger. I love a thigh high but thought these flat ones were more appropriate for a daytime look.

IT'S BEEN A WHILE...

A LOT has happened since my last post. I found out shortly after that I was pregnant and almost immediately started to suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. For those of you who don't know what that is try remembering the worst hangover you've ever had, times it by 100 and imagine suffering from that hangover every minute of everyday for 9 months! HELL ON EARTH...BUT it's over and I now had a beautiful baby girl to show for it.
Whenever I thought about being pregnant I imagined putting together fabulous maternity outfits everyday but the truth is I spent most of my days in PJs or tracksuits bottoms. Not the most glamorous but to be honest for the first time in my life fashion was the last thing on my mind and trying to get through the day was my main concern.
The moment I gave birth the sickness disappeared and my love for all things fashion was back. My only problem now is I still have some baby weight to lose so I'm holding back on that well deserved spending spree. Instead I'm investing in lots of footwear and creating a lot of wish lists.
As you can imagine I have my hands full with my 6 week old but I'm going to try my best to update you on my shoe haul and keep you informed on my endless wish lists so watch this space...
