OOTD - PINK SWEATSHIRT

I was lucky enough to go to Disneyworld for work recently and while I was there I did some shopping at Disney Springs. If you ever get the chance to go you should, it's amazing! While I was there I popped into Zara and saw this gorge pink puffed sleeved sweatshirt. Yes, I went all the way to Disneyworld and brought something back from Zara but I couldn't resist.

While putting this post together I came across this Frilled Midi Dress from Zara. They teamed the sweatshirt with it. I personally wouldn't but I LOVE the dress. Unfortunately I have no where to wear it to but it's very pretty so I thought I'd share it with you.

WHAT I BOUGHT IN ZARA

I popped into Zara this week but had to be quick because I had Dolls with me. I bought this very versatile white frill shirt. It can be worn over jeans (to hide all the bits you want to hide) or tucked into high waisted shorts, jeans, a skirt. A great investment. See how sensible I am these days? I've worn it already and love it so it was definitely a good buy.

I then spotted this dress with pompom sleeves and bought it for my holiday to Ibiza. I thought it would look cool with a pair of gold or bronze flat sandals but when I got it home I wasn't convinced it worked as well as I thought so I think I'll be taking it back. You can't really tell from the photo but there is a gold striped lining that you can faintly see through the mesh material meaning it's actually nicer in real life.

Zara Dress

I tried on this fabulous jumpsuit but it didn't suit my shape. I have too much hips and bum for this but I love love love the print and was gutted that it didn't suit me.

Finally I tried this embroidered beauty. I almost bought it but Mrs Sensible decided I had too many similar things already (who am I?)

DOLLY'S SWIMWEAR

Sings: We're all going on a summer holiday, no more working for a week or two...

We're off to Ibiza this summer which is our favourite place in the entire world and I'm very excited about it. This will be Dolly's second time in Ibiza. We took her when she was only 4 months old. I've started to prep her Ibiza wardrobe already and instead of going crazy and buying everything in sight (like I did last year) I'm being sensible and have bought just two swimwear items. I must admit it was a difficult task because M&S have the cutest of cute items in stock.

M&S Peacock Swimsuit

M&S 2 Piece Printed Swim Outfit

M&S Pom Pom Frill Swimsuit

This is the one that got away...I found it hard to decide between the Peacock Swimsuit and this Pom Pom Frill one. The Peacock won but I'm still thinking about this...

NAME CHANGE

While Dolly Sleeps was originally called What The Stylist Wore and was supposed to be a fashion blog based on my wardrobe. In reality it was a blog that patiently waited for me to pay it some attention while I was busy learning how to be a mum and juggling my job as a fashion and celebrity stylist.

Fast forward a year or so and here I am AGAIN. The name change is a hashtag I've used on social media since Dolly was born. #whiledollysleeps simply means this is something I can do while Dolly is sleeping because let's face it it's hard to do anything for myself while she's awake!

Before Dolly I shopped. A LOT. These days I don't have the time or the income (childcare grrr) or the amount of fabulous places to go to. Don't get me wrong our regular trips to Waitrose, the park and playdates are great but don't really require the latest on trend must have. Dungarees and converse is my mum uniform of choice and it works pretty well. This doesn't mean I don't treat myself from time to time and I definitely obsess over the things I would have bought if I hadn't become so sensible. While Dolly Sleeps is about the things I buy and the things I would have bought before Dolly.

MANGO JEANS

Wearing: Office Shoes Similar@Office | Mango Jeans | H&M T-Shirt | Marks & Spencer Skinny Scarf Similar@Topshop

Now that Spring has (kind of) sprung I decided it was time to get my ankles out. I spotted these lace up cropped jeans in Mango and instantly fell in love. The best bit is they are stretchy so fit really well. I love a good basic and this grey tee from H&M is great but for some reason I wasn't feeling the simple look so added this season's must have skinny scarf!
